As we are all in lockdown and facing many challenges over the last couple of weeks i thought it's would be important to share the kindness. 

As it's my birthday, I want to fundraise for Active Communities to ensure we are still able to support our community at this time. This means we are making sure vulnerable people are being supported and don't feel isolated. We support some of the most vulnerable people in our community and have created a wonderful close family of volunteers, staff and service users but it's essential to keep this going especially at this time of uncertainty. 

The money raised will help us ensure members of the community have access to food, essentials and lots of love and laughter. It will also help us send equipment to our young people to ensure they can still be active at home. 

I have worked with the Active Communities team for just over a year and couldn't be prouder to be part of the family.
