Story
Trees are a vital part of our planet’s ecosystem. Trees are relied on for their products: oxygen, fruits, wood, water, medicines and soil nutrients to name a few. Trees provide essential habitats for diverse wildlife.
Yet sadly, global deforestation continues at an alarming rate.
The world is currently losing trees and forests at an area equivalent to 50 football pitches every minute.
The International Tree Foundation (ITF) works to plant, protect and promote understanding of the vital role of trees for all life on Earth. To mark their 90th Anniversary the ITF aim to raise £90,000 to plant an incredible 1 million trees.
On the 12th April I will be running the Brighton Marathon and 'RUNNING FOR THE TREES'. Please help me to raise as much money as possible for our beautiful trees.
