Tim's London Marathon 2011

Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·
Well folks, I did it! I hobbled over the line with my good pal "Vozza" in just under 5 hours on a hot but fantastic day in London on Sunday 17th April - made even better by Stoke City beating Bolton Wanderers 5-0 in the FA Cup Semi-Final that afternoon!
As well as ticking off a Marathon in the old 'task book of life', I want to raise as much money as I can for the fantastic charity, St Dunstan's, which provides lifelong support for blind and visually impaired ex-Service men and women. f you want to know more about their work, please visit St Dunstan's website (www.st-dunstans.org.uk) and listen to Craig at the attached videolink.
WIth offline donations and Gift Aid, I've met my £1500 target but would love to reach £2000, so if you're willing to make a donation then it's really easy to do so via JustGiving. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure gift aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So, it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Sincere thanks,
Tim Porter
