I am running the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 8th April and would like to use the event to raise money for my chosen charity, Barnardo's.

Why Barnardo's? Simple: I enjoyed an idyllic and privileged childhood with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow in a safe environment.  I would like to help in some small way to provide the same for young people who are not lucky enough to enjoy the same.
