Many of you supported me 6 years ago when I undertook an off road cycling challenge to raise funds for Children's Hospice Southwest. What you may not know is that within 6 months I had to give up cycling due to balance issues. I have since been introduced to the joys of recumbent tricycle riding, so when Gordon lost his fight against leukaemia I felt I should rise to the challenge.

Gordon was such a quiet, unassuming, yet efficient man who just got things done. He was very organised and complemented my sister so well. Gordon always took pride in his appearance, no matter what task he was involved in. Whilst Gordon would rarely complain it was distressing to those around him to see the toll that the disease gradually took. I hope you will therefore help to raise funds in his memory.
