Hi everyone, me and 4 mates are doing a charity ride at the end of August for a really good cause Rainbow Trust Africa. It will be the hardest thing any one of us has ever done! It is a 300 mile ride over 3 days from Barcelona in Spain to the south of France over the Pyrenees mountain range. During the 3 day ride we will be going over several mountains some of which have featured on this years Tour de France! In total we will be climbing over 9000m of elevation - higher than Mount Everest (8848m)!
A bit about the charity.... Rainbow Trust Africa is a charity that works primarily in Livingstone in Zambia, and works to deliver education, healthcare and other provision such as food, to children and vulnerable adults living in extreme poverty and difficult situations. It touches the lives of hundreds of individuals and provides employment to dozens of local Zambians too. It is really a fantastic charity and your donations will certainly have a big impact! If you want to find out more about the charity please visit their website which has more information on its areas of operation and projects - www.rainbowafrica.org
Thanks for supporting the cause and us as we undertake this challenge!
