Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 7th June 2017 we will be taking part in a rowing marathon held in the Netherlands in a coxed quad.  At 100km it will clearly be the furthest any of us has rowed.  To put it into context for non-rowers the annual Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race is 6.8km (although I doubt we will be going as quickly somehow).

It will be challenging but we are putting in the training so have given ourselves a good chance to finish the course.  We hope you agree that such a mad event justifies sponsorship for our two nominated charities - Alzheimer's Research UK and East Anglian Air Ambulance.  We would be very grateful for your support and there is a separate fundraising page for each charity on our team page for you to choose from.  We would like to keep donations as equal as possible.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Further information about the marathon can be found at the following website:
