Walk for the Wards · 16 May 2013
I was diagnosed to have Brain cancer in July 2011 and operated in August 2011. The operation only removed 35% of the growth and none of the true black major growth, the expectation was an average of 15 months living. I am at 18 months. I have had a lot ot treatments since the main operation, an MRI scan every three months which initially establish further growth of the black entry to my brain. This entered a new set of tablets which knocked me sideways and was negative, however after stopping taking those the growth has not continued, I have had over a year on reduction of some tablets and I am now very positive as to where I am.
Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice has helped me for over a year and continues to do so, they continue help as I change and their treatment and support is unbelievable.
My sponsored walk is 9th June.
