Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been filming the Royal Navy since 1994 for various TV series so feel a great affinity with the Senior Service. Seventeen years ago at the age of 54/55 I was privileged to spend 32 weeks training along side 924 Troop at the Commando Training Centre at Lympstone.  It was a life changing experience and one that brought me in to the Royal Marines family.  I now want to help raise funds for the Royal Navy Royal Marines Charity - especially for the ongoing support of those injured on duty.   I will run proudly wearing my green beret - my most prized possession.  I would appreciate any donations and support to help get my old bones round that 26.1 miles!

About the charity

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is the principle charity of the Royal Navy. Beneficiaries lie at the heart of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity's purpose, it is our duty to remain focused on their needs. Since 2007, we have funded projects and facilities that boost morale for those who serve today. We also distribute millions of pounds annually to military charities which care for the children, families and veterans of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.
