The first thing you need to read is - THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for visiting my JustGiving page.
I've decided it's time to give a little something back. I'll never be as brave or warrior-esque, as the millions of people that face the big C everyday, but perhaps taking on this challenge is my very small way of trying recognise all those people, their families and loved ones. We've all lost someone to cancer, or know of someone that has or who is currently battling the affects of this illness. To those in my life that are mid fight-this is for you. If I can run a few miles, whilst raising valuable money for research, then that's what I'll do. Please help me to help others.
This is for all our loved ones, family and dear friends, those that are gone and those left behind, the people I don't know and the people that work to treat, care and hope to find a way towards some sort of end.
I'm running 106km around the Isle of Wight on 30th April, as part of the Ultra Challenge series. I am taking on the full island challenge and need to complete it within 16 hours. I hope I can give something back to an important charity and I also hope that you'll stand with me in recognising the bravery of others. Let's hope that one day the big C isn't so big.
Please give anything that you can. Thank you for your time and above all your support. A friendly face at the finish line would be the icing on the cake-30th April (put it in your diary) or track my progress online on the day.
Much love. Tiff xx
