COUNTDOWN: T minus 2 weeks. All packed and ready!

Thanks so much to all who came to the Curry Night & Auction- a massive success raising £2,200 and a great night (and curry!) had by all! 

The Prize Bingo on the 13th June was a HUGE success- 80 people came along, and many of them went home with fantastic prizes! The evening raised £930. And congratulations to all the lucky winners in the prize draw- over £1000 raised and some great prizes went to good homes!

Thanks everyone for all your support so far! In 2008, I lost by Dad to cancer. Since then, I have been fundraising for Cancer Research, a cause I hope will one day massively change the lives of the sufferers and their families affected by cancer.

And this September (very very soon!), I am going to Brazil to build a school!

Not only will my fundraising help raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research, but I will be visiting a remote village in Brazil called Bandeira, where I will spend my time restoring the village school together with other volunteers. By renovating the desperately inadequate school facilites, children in the village will be able to go to school and be educated near their families, rather than having to move away, or not get an education at all.
