Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have so far challenged myself, and completed, the London to Southend Bike ride and recently partook in jumping out of a plane with my sister. Now though I wanted a much bigger, more adventurous challenge, and therefore I have decided to take part in the 2015 Grand Canyon Trek in support of The Alzheimer's Society.

Dementia is a horrible, incurable disease, that currently affects around 850,000 people in the UK alone. What Alzheimer's Society to help support people with dementia and fund research to help find a cure as soon as possible is great.

It would be amazing to know that what I've raised could help Alzheimer's Society to find that cure quicker. And you can help me to get there. Just £20 could pay for an experienced Dementia Support Worker to spend a week with someone affected by dementia.

Now of course I'm not asking for £20 off of everyone, just whatever you can spare to help make this dream a reality.

Thank you :)
Thomas
