Before I start to tell you about what I am planning on doing I would just like to thank you for spending the time to visit this page it means a lot to me.

So now for the important stuff, I decided to apply for the 2011 London marathon because of the reputation of the run as very challenging and I want to prove to myself that anything is truly possible.

When I was looking into applying for the run I came across the charity 'I Can' which focuses on helping to improve young people to communicate. This charity really moved me because I strongly believe that communication is the key to improving our society.

I feel that we have to do all that we can to help children because they in turn will help the society of the future.  Afterall it is these children that are going to be our next generation of prime ministers, police officers, fire men, lawyers, doctors, builders, business people etc. 

I feel if we invest in these children now, then all of our futures will look a lot more brighter.
