NSPCC Patagonia Trek · 3 November 2018

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

The Fogarty's are at it again!

In 2016 we took part in the NSPCC Iceland Trek personally raising £27,500 for the NSPCC in the process. The Trek overall raised £117,000 from a group of 40 people.

This November we are taking part in the NSPCC Patagonia Trek. This is an extreme challenge in a remote region of Patagonia. We will be camping in adverse weather conditions, using ropes and crampons to cross glaciers and trekking for 20kms a day for 6 days in a row.

As you all know, I (Carl) love to win! I would love to raise even more money for the NSPCC. Over the years I have attended several NSPCC functions and I have heard about the great work that this charity does to protect the children of the UK from abuse.

At the moment the NSPCC only have the resources to answer 3 out of 4 contacts to their Childline Service. It kills me to think about the child that can't get through.

Please dig deep and sponsor us where you can with what you can.

Be sure to visit this page for updates on our training and our fundraising efforts.

Thanks everyone

Foggy & Mrs F!
