Story
Thea was born on the 11th of September 2014 by emergency caesarean weighing 6lb 10oz. She had big feet, long legs and a mop of hair, she was absolutely perfect. Sadly she was starved of oxygen during the birth and became critically ill, eventually being transferred to the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit) at St Mary's Hospital Manchester.
The care Thea received was exemplary and each of the nurses, midwives and doctors ensured she received only the very best treatment available as they worked tirelessly to save her life. Heartbreakingly, after four days of intensive care our beautiful daughter passed away peacefully in our arms.
We are still receiving support from the NICU unit as we come to terms with the loss of Thea and a future without her. We would like to also thank them for those four precious days of her life, which we will hold in our hearts forever.
By donating in Thea's memory your money will ensure that poorly babies continue to receive the most advanced and compassionate care possible.
Thank you,
Thea's Mum and Dad x
