CN: mental health, s*icide

I have lived in Cambridge for 24 years; I am now a graduate student here. In that time, I have seen so many friends and family struggle with mental illness – including a great many fellow students. Mind was a lifeline for some of my closest friends... but others lacked access to such life-saving resources.

I lost one of my friends to suicide this academic year. I am still trying to understand that, but one thing I already know is that more support for mental health in Cambridge is deeply, desperately needed. No-one should face mental illness alone, not now – not ever. Love you all, especially those accessing, working at, and supporting Mind xxx
