Well, 2 Sopranos and a Bass actually; but if each of you can afford at least 1 tenner the money will go to a good cause: The Disaster Emergency Committee Appeal for Haiti.

Bernadette, Stef & Anna, as you probably know them, are (sponsored) singing "Requiem in Blue", a Community Choir project based at St Luke's Church, West Holloway.  If each choir member can raise £100 and the concert sells out, we will be able to donate £12,000 to the relief effort following the recent earthquake. 

Requiem in Blue is written & will be conducted by Harvey Brough (of Harvey & the Wallbangers fame) & is an innovative jazz based piece which features several north London adult & childrens' choirs, plus a six-piece jazz band & two soloists.

The concert is at St Luke's Church on Hillmarton Road, N7 9RE on Sunday 28th March at 7pm & tickets are available from voxholloway@gmail.com.

But, we can only get 300+ through the doors on the night & half those tickets are already sold & you might already be busy then, or live a  long way away or not have the same pressing desire to hear Stef(Luci)ano's bass line as others; so by donating the cost of a ticket price (£12) or slightly less or even more you will  both contribute to the success of the evening & far more importantly contribute to the relief effort in Haiti.

  - £13.50 could buy enough food to keep a baby alive for 2 weeks

  - £18 could buy a food ration containing canned food, flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil - enough to feed a family of 4 for 2 weeks.

We're not singing for our suppers. We're singing for theirs.
