We increase the pool of stem cell donors to give patients a second chance of life

Story

A number of us will be walking part of the Thames Path from Friday 20th October - Sunday 22nd October, covering just over 100 miles in 3 days.

To put this into perspective that's 34 miles or 63,000 steps per day. Are we mad? Probably!

This is all in memory of our friend Artur who was diagnosed with leukaemia and sadly lost his life at the tender age of 24. In order to raise awareness, we have invited DKMS, a leading charity focused on fighting blood cancers, into our office. The aim is to help fight against blood cancer and blood disorders by taking a cheek swab from our employees with the view that if they are a successful match, they will donate blood. By donating you can support this and other work done by an amazing charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
