Over the past year we raised a whopping £25,000 for Martin House - and we're continuing our fundraising quest this year, because, frankly, we can't think of a worthier local cause!

The Boston Spa-based hospice helps babies and children with life-limiting conditions to live out their final days as fully and comfortably as possible - as well as providing much-needed support to their bereaved family, including young siblings. We personally know of couples who have received such exceptional care from Martin House.

As Martin House relies upon donations and fundraising to operate we raise funds in a variety of ways, from taking part in sponsored runs, to hosting charity events and facilitating voluntary donations from our lovely wedding couples and suppliers. 

Last year saw Oliver smash The Yorkshire Marathon in 3 hours 14 minutes, followed by the Paris Marathon in 3 hours 9 minutes! Plus our first-ever Charity Ball proved a real hit: 150 glamorous guests enjoyed a Yorkshire-themed night of fine dining, cocktails, an art auction, plus top notch entertainment from The New York Brass Band, The Undercover Waiters and Jonny Ross Music. 

This year we're continuing to donate to Martin House with the hekp of our wedding couples - and plans are in motion for our bi-annual Charity Ball, taking place in early 2025. Details TBA!
