My lovely husband Pete lost his hard fought battle against an aggressive and incurable brain tumour. His courage, determination and good humour throughout were an inspiration to us all. 

As a scientist, he believed that personalised immunotherapies provide the most promise of success against this devastating disease. Currently, despite brain tumours killing more people under the age of 40 than any other cancer, it only receives 1% of the national spend on cancer research. This has got to change.
