The Inspirational Mr P aka Gary Penalver lost his fight with cancer aged just 56 in February 2021. He had beaten cancer once before 25 years ago with the help of Macmillan. He wanted to show his gratitude for their care and support by raising many thousands of pounds. Even when he was undergoing gruelling cancer treatment he managed to raise over £4000 by braving the shave in 2020. His zest for life and positive outlook helped so many other people with their battles. He was greatly respected and loved by his fellow musicians, family and many friends. To honour his memory we would like to continue to raise money for Macmillan. On 31 July we will be holding GaryFest. The profits from the ticket sales plus money raised during the event will all go to Macmillan. If you cannot attend but you'd like to donate, please give what you can here.
