Story
I've suffered from cancer twice, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). I'm 22 just to get that out there, I still minutely suffer from the consequences of the treatment, but it's a small price to pay for still being alive.
It can be said that I've done quite a lot with my time since my relapse of cancer, entering remission when I was 17 I then went onto university, I once had 6 part-time jobs (at one time), I became an nightclub event manager, used to play football weekly. What do I do now? Travel. I travel and write about my experiences, I believe there is so much good in mankind despite the always depressing headlines on the news. What I will be doing next, why I'm fundraising, is that I will be putting my potential, a humans potential to the test, I will be cycling from the UK to China, and if that doesn't sound hard enough then I will also be living in the wild as much as possible, and living off the wild too. It will be challenge for me as I'm not well versed in cycling or being an outdoors man and I admit it can take a minimum of 10-months, but something I want to challenge for! I will also be aiming to live off £3 a day and trying to find work along the way to keep me going (my finances are low myself!) ha, even more of a challenge. I will be keeping updates along my journey through my website - www.thehopefulvagabond.com.
I want this to inspire those who are suffering not just from cancer but anything, mentally, physically or something that is undefined. I want those to know that when the odds are against you that you can do it. I want to be an example, there's a lot of pain in the world, but that can washed over with love and happiness.
