💙💛The Handmade Showcase team has decided an urgent Charity Auction is needed in response to the war on Ukraine. 

We wanted to choose a charity that could directly benefit from our efforts. We are grateful to have Liliana from @Cataleya who is actively involved in taking donations that can reach Ukrainian refugees. 

The generosity of our makers have been amazing. It’s always in a moment of crisis we all pull together so beautifully. Each maker will be donating special pieces of their handmade products up for auction. You will be able to bid on individual items, each item’s starting bid will be from £1, increments will be made in full pounds (no pennies). We hope everyone will donate generously and in return you will receive something made with love and knowing you have directly contributed towards the people of Ukraine.

We have chosen Lewisham Polish Centre for their abundantly visible efforts. They have the support of Lewisham Council (London Borough).

💙💛LEWISHAM POLISH CENTRE - We are taking donated goods from all over the local community and arranging for transportation to the Polish border. Our first trucks are on their way loaded with clothes blankets, medical supplies and much more.Financial contributions are increadibly helpful as they help us get the good where they need to be and allows us to purchase goods directly near the boarder. Any excess donations will be given directly to charities at the boarder helping refugees and supporting troops
