Story

Hi thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

As some of you may know Meg sadly lost her Gran in January this year. She says:

Gran was one of the most special ladies I have known. She always had a smile on her face and a spring in her step. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 5 years ago and it was sad seeing her get progressively worse, however she always knew who we were which I am thankful for.

I suggested to Fran, Bec, Sam, Kathy and Kim that we complete The Wolf Run and try and raise as much money for the Alzheimer's society as possible, thankfully they were all up for it (I think they may regret that decision!). My Granny Bannany would have had a right giggle at the thought of us getting extremely muddy doing a 10k obstacle course. (I'm sorry gals I should have asked us to do a sponsored cake eating challenge!!)

On Saturday 13th June The Granny Bananettes will be taking on lakes, hay bales, slip and slides and goodness knows what else so please dig deep and sponsor whatever you can!

Thank you.
