Story

10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2.......1! Happy New Year, here's to a great 2017! I decided there and then I was gonna make some big changes in the New Year starting with getting back in the gym. I already had a 10k planned for Feb and so it started. 52 days later I've done 2 * 10ks and I've climbed Snowdon! Oh and I've signed up for the Steve Prescott Foundation 2017 Challenge - which is to climb Kilimanjaro.

Why have I signed up for this when I've never done anything remotely like this in my life? Well it's in October so I've got enough time to get reasonably fit. I was told to open my mind with where my travels take me so Africa will be a first. And of course it's for Steve Prescott Foundation which is very special to me as a not only a rugby league fan but somebody who followed those final months of Steves life with great sadness but more so Inspiration.

So please if you can donate and support my challenge so I can do my little bit in Steves legacy whilst also achieving and taking part in a life changing event.

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
