Story
Last September, The Big Challenge 2021 was set up.
As a group of friends, we decided we needed to set ourselves a challenge to keep ourselves active during lockdown. The aim was to make sure that whatever challenge we set pushed us beyond anything we've done before. We also really wanted to raise money for an amazing Christadelphian charity, Meal-A-Day - more on that below.
Here are the individual targets we set:
Al Turton - marathon
Anna Brown - half marathon
Benji Millar - marathon
Georgie Lucas - marathon
Hayley Tudor - half marathon
Hil Lucas - half marathon
Jojo Tudor - marathon
Jake Allfree - 56km
James Turton - marathon
Jamie Brown - half marathon
Lara Millar - half marathon
Lucy Turton - marathon
Lydia Tudor - half marathon
Owain Tudor - half marathon
Phil Brown - half marathon
Sam Turton - marathon
Sarah Stables - half marathon
The original plan was to meet in one location and complete our challenges at the same time. But, lockdown means we'll now be completing our challenges in household groups in our local area on the 13th of March 2021.
We're still super excited about our challenge and would love it if you could donate toward this great charity.
Who are Christadelphian Meal-A-Day?
Christadelphian Meal A Day's mission is to share the blessings they receive from God to help those who are in real need in the less developed parts of the world. They support sustainable 'down to earth' projects that focus on supporting vulnerable children, the provision of clean water, agricultural skills, basic health care and education, and a meal a day.
