Story

Four of us (now 5 and a couple of others sometimes) regularly get up early on a Saturday morning and go and run a parkrun (see http://www.parkrun.org.uk) Sometimes it's a struggle to get out of bed at the weekend, and so for 2015 we thought we would try and set ourselves a challenge and raise some money for our local charity Noah's Ark.

We are attempting to run 52 consecutive parkruns - all in different places around London and the South East - each Saturday of 2015. This is a collective challenge - all 4 of us are going to try and do as many as possible but each weekend all four of us (or at least 3-4 as there are bound to be injury, illness and holidays in the year!) will do a new parkrun location.

Noah's Ark are a great local charity based where we all live in Barnet. They recently acquired land in the road where all our kids went to school, and are raising money to build a new Children's Hospice.

Please give generously - £1 a week for a year will go a long way. Or come and join us on a Park Run - it's not a race, it's actually jolly good fun. Find out where we are next running by following us on Twitter at @ArkRunners

Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/ArkRunners - shows proof of all our runs!
