Lifesavers Scotland is a non-profit making Charity run completely by volunteers who donate their time to help provide the service. We respond out of hours to cover the transport needs of NHS Hospitals. Delivering critical medical supplies including Emergency response deliveries and, at times of need, we have provided transport to NHS staff to enable them to get to their place of work.
We utilise both emergency response and non-emergency vehicles including motorcycle, car, people carrier and 4X4 capability; ensuring a holistic response to cover as many eventualities as possible.
At Lifesavers our service is provided entirely by unpaid volunteers. Who are individuals driven by good conscience and community spirit. The volunteer roles include Administration, fund raising, riding and driving up to emergency response standards.
Our service is only possible with the good will and generosity of our sponsors and supporters through way of donation; we thank you all for making our mission a success.
