Story
Yoga practice is about connection to self and connection to other. We each and all live in a world of threads that are binding. Many of us are blessed by healthy bodies and lives of relative luxury. It is good to give. With that at our heart, the Shala Yoga Centre and Norman Blair are running a Yin yoga workshop, a Full Counted Ashtanga Class and a Post-Natal Mother & Baby class on Monday 28 December where all money raised will be donated to Save the Children's Child Refugee Crisis Appeal.
A teaching from the Buddha’s is this: the Itivuttaka (26): “If beings knew, as I know, the results of giving and sharing, they would not eat without having given, nor would the stain of selfishness overcome their minds. Even if it were their last bite, their last mouthful, they would not eat without having shared, if there were someone to receive their gift.”
