Story

Dear Friends and Family

Lara, Bev, Tiff and Susi met playing football for fun and fitness on Wandsworth Common. But on Friday 7th October, we will be giving up our warm beds at home to sleep rough on the street and swapping our shinpads and boots for sleeping bags and rolls mats.

This is all in the hope of raising money and awareness for a local cause, the Glass Door Homeless Charity. Glass Door runs London's largest winter night shelter for the homeless and offers caseworkers to get people into stable accommodation and work.

Our night out won't be as frightening or as cold as it will be for those men and women who come to Glass Door's emergency night shelters through the winter months. However, we want to help the charity reach its target of £150,000 which it needs to run two shelters supporting 100 rough sleepers every night from November to April.

Thank you for your support - any donation, no matter how small, will be very much appreciated.
