On the 4th August 2009 our beautiful gorgeous Sophie was diagnosed with Leukaemia (ALL) as you can imagine this totally devastated our world and family. Sophie was immediately transfered to St George's hospital in London and by the Friday was in main theatre having bone marrow checks, this confirmed the shocking reality of what was to become part of Sophie's life for the next two years.

One day your life is running along happily and then bang, it changes in one devastating hour. Sophie was transfered to the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton one week later to start intense chemotherapy.

Sophie is undergoing a two year treatment plan of chemotherapy and is responding amazingly well to her treatment. 80% of children recover from this terrible illness and go on to lead normal healthy lives, however not every child does.

We want to help the Royal Marsden make that 100% and with your help and our help we are hoping to achieve just that.

Sophies consultant and the staff of the Royal Marsden have allowed her to lead as much as a normal life as possible and have made her confident in her illness.

Sophie is back in full-time school and loving life as much as she did before her illness. Please help us to help all children with childhood cancers.
