Hello Everyone,

Well it’s that time of year for the Cemex buoys to hit the Thames again for a good cause; we would love it, if you all could help us to raise as much money as we can to help children and young adults to participate in an activity at the same level as everyone else. This is an amazing thing the team at the Ahoy centre does “utterly Oarsome”.

This year we have a few new crew members and I know it’s all about taking part and doing the best we can for the Ahoy centre. However we came in second last year but this year the unfit Cemex Buoys want to win it. 

Our goal is to raise at least £1,800 which will go directly to The AHOY Centre, a London charity based in Deptford. 

The AHOY work with disadvantaged children, young vulnerable people and those with disabilities. They offer them the opportunity to learn new skills along with the AHOY running courses and programmes to train them to gain qualifications and life skills needed or employment.
