At this time of year, most people are more mindful as to the contrast between those that have and those that have not; in particular the most vulnerable. As the nights draw in and the temperature drops we can’t help but think about those who are alone and sleeping rough on our streets. 

No one should be sleeping out this Christmas. Regretfully homelessness in London is still on the rise. That is why we are making a concerted effort to reach out to more people and find them somewhere warm to stay; we will not pass by anyone that wants to leave the streets. 

Without homelessness agencies such as Thames Reach, people find themselves very quickly in a desperate situation and out of control.

But there is hope and there is help.

Our Christmas Campaign this year tells of Jerry’s story and his journey away from the street and his struggles with addiction #Jerry's Journey. As Jerry says "No one expects to find themselves homeless, I certainally didn't".
