I am taking part in this challenge in memory of a good friend, Guy Rouquette, who sadly died from MDS at the end of last year.  

MDS UK is the only charity in the UK providing vital support, information, advice and conducting research solely into Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS)- a rare blood cancer where the bone marrow fails to produce healthy blood cells.  Gordon has had MDS for 10 years and has found the support of this charity invaluable. I want to thank the charity by trying to raise as much as I can and any support you can give will be much appreciated.
