Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Matthew lost his eyesight quite suddenly in 2014 due to a genetic disorder known as Lebers' Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON). Grant Smith from Blind Children UK has been helping Matthew with mobility training and habilitation from quite an early stage. He has been a major factor not just in teaching Matthew to become self-reliant in getting around Edinburgh, but also in helping the whole of our family face the future with greater confidence.

Raising money for Blind Children UK will help someone else get the sort of opportunity Matthew has received.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
