Story

The Triple F Challenge of Fin, Feather and Fur is:

Fin:  We paddled a home-built raft 7.5 miles down the River Avon in May 2014 - Done!

Feather:  2 x Tandem skydives from 15,000 feet in March and July 2014 - Done!

Fur:  Compete in a "WOLF" run (10km of running, swimming and getting over, under and through obstacles) in September 2014 - Done!

Why?

We hadn't heard of cardiomyopathy, or the CMA, until my beautiful sister Tina suffered a cardiac arrest at just 31 years-old.  Fortunately, Tina survived this, and subsequent cardiac arrests.

It was some time before Tina learnt that the cause of her condition was Cardiomyopathy.  Despite being the largest cause of sudden death in under-35's, Cardiomyopathy remains largely unknown other than by those families affected by it. The high-profile collapse of Fabrice Muamba during a 2012 FA cup 6th round football match at White Hart Lane briefly brought the disease into the media spotlight, but more still needs to be done.

The CMA supports families of those affected by Cardiomyopathy - more detail can be found here:
