An Evening of Shakespeare for the NHS, 21 February 2021
We raise money for NHS Charities to help our NHS go further.

Story

This campaign was inspired by the late Captain Sir Tom Moore's work last year in raising money for the NHS and because we are in the performing arts industry, Covid-19 has left many who work in the theatre out of work. So we at Temporal Horizons Theatre are keen in finding a way towards helping the National Health Service through using the work of William Shakespeare, in order to showcase the power that the arts have in helping others.

Our project will be a showcase of scenes from different plays of Shakespeare including Hamlet, Julius Caesar, Romeo and Juliet amongst others which tie into the famous seven stages of man speech from As You Like It. We will also include two extracts from the classical Greek dramas such as the Bacchae and Medea.

The donations you send will help towards supporting the National Health Service and the doctors, nurses and staff who are working to combat the virus so that we may return to the normality of our lives. It would also help all the actors and creatives who have given their time for free to do this project.

This will be released as a feature length film on Youtube on the 23rd of April to coincide with William Shakespeare's birthday and will be free to watch.

We hope that you will enjoy the project and will keep you updated on how it is developing.
