Finally arrived in Brecon. It was hard work in wet and windy conditions. The long way back tommorow.

AN HOUR TO GO. Eating porridge and applying lubricant (to the bike, that is). Still time to sponsor us!

THEY'RE DOING IT AGAIN!

Not content with smashing last years Glenwood Taff Trail Challenge by being the last team to start and the first to finish the 56 mile route from Brecon to Cardiff, this year they're doing it again TWICE!

Team Quickstep (aka Dean Roberts, Stephen Casey and Simon Braybrook) will be cycling from Cardiff to Brecon on Friday May 18th before meeting up with the remaining 126 cyclists to cycle back again on the 19th!

In total the collective cyclists will be cycling the distance from Cardiff to Gorom Gorom, Burkina Faso in West Africa in order to raise money for Acacia Partnership Trust to finish building a much needed school for the local population.

The school, the first of its kind in the town, is the vision of local Pastor Daniel Kabore and is built with the full support and awareness of the local community. It will provide high quality primary education to the poorest of the poor regarding on race, religion or gender. The school building and accomodatio is now nearly finished but funds are needed to help sponsor the classes to enable children who otherwise could not afford primary education to attend.
