#TeamLC are raising money to help support all those who have been affected by a blood cancer diagnosis, by running 26.2 miles around London on Sunday 21st April 2024.

Story

In March 2023, my daughter Lilly’s close friend Sebastian was diagnosed with Leukaemia.  He is just 15 years old.  He is an inspiration to us all, with his positivity and strength.  He continues to battle every turn and challenge thrown at him, with the utmost dignity and determination.  I want to raise as much as I can to support this charity and raise awareness, as a part of an incredible team of Seb’s family and friends - Team Seb.

Seb has ‘Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (Ph+ ALL)’.  He is the one child a year (average) the Royal Marsden hospital sees with this rare variant of ALL.  Seb is on the EsPhALL2017 trial, which involves 700 children and young adults from Europe and the USA, including 60 from the U.K.

Leukaemia Care is a national charity dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice and support. Around 34,000 people are affected by blood cancer each year in the UK and we're here to support them through their diagnosis, treatment and beyond.

Please help me to support this cause, and our friend Seb and give generously.

Thank you.
