We enable physically disabled people to to enjoy inclusion through technology

Story

Who we are

George-An 18 year old student, studying psychology at the University of East London. A lover of games with a special place in his heart for the Pokemon series.

Ryan-An 18 year old who currently works part time in a supermarket whilst training to become a police special constable. A primarily PC gamer who loves a good FPS

Our Goal

We aimed to raise £100 last year for SpecialEffect. Instead, we raised over £475. This year, we want to top that, and raise £750.

Our Charity

SpecialEffect are a great charity. They don't aim for world peace, or to feed every starving child. Instead, they help people in our local communities who are physically disabled to get into video-games. Whether its letting a young boy who is paralyzed play Fifa with his mates, or helping an army veteran who's lost limbs continue their passion for gaming, SpecialEffect will do whatever they can to put some fun back into the live of those who could desperately need it.

Our Event

We're both passionate gamers, and we want to try and give something back to the people that are desperate to get involved with what we take for granted. So we're going to game for 24 hours straight. From noon on February 20th until noon the next day, we will be playing. We'll game through the night without rest, and you'll be able to watch us the whole time at http://www.twitch.tv/teampixelpunch

What we'll be playing

Anything in my steam library, a variety of Playstation 4 titles and any game that you want us to play that doesn't cost too much. A rough schedule can be found below.

You Can Win

We will have a number of games to give away during the event to people who donate, so not only do you get the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing that you're helping others, but you could also get a game, which is nice. Just make sure to leave an email address when you donate so that we can contact you if you win.
