As a family-run business we love to get involved in local charity work. This year, we are fundraising for The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity and have set ourselves a target of £8,000, which will help fund pioneering research, new treatments and vital support services that may otherwise be unavailable.

The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is the only charity that directly
raises funds to benefit Clatterbridge Cancer patients across the region. Operating from ten sites across Merseyside and Cheshire, the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre makes almost 221,000 patient contacts to over 30,000 patients each year, offering pioneering chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and remains the UK's only provider of proton therapy treatment.

Our support has started at an exciting time for the charity, as Clatterbridge are expanding their services by investing in the current site in Wirral and building a brand new cancer hospital for the region in Liverpool, as well as progressing even further with ground-breaking research and therapies.

With the latest research showing that almost half of us will develop cancer in our lifetime, there is an urgent need for better tests, earlier diagnosis and more effective treatments. Also, cancer is the leading cause of death in the UK and, for many cancers, the incidence and number of deaths are significantly higher in the North West. Clatterbridge are facing this challenge head on, and we are proud to be right behind them – please join us and help to raise as much as we can for this incredible hospital.
