We are a group of frontline ambulance staff who are running the 10mile ‘Great South Run’ in Portsmouth on Sunday 27 October 2013 in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. We are inspired to do this after our dear friend and colleague developed this condition last year.

Pat Murphy spent 26 years as an ambulance technician and later furthered his career becoming a paramedic. Pat has helped countless numbers of patients in all sorts of circumstances throughout his working life. Pat would now like support for other people who are unfortunately in the same position as him. 

We would like to raise as much money as possible for research into this debilitating disease.
