Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page. We are a group of mostly novice runners challenging ourselves to run between 10K and a half marathon. Many of the half marathon runners have never attempted this distance before.
We are running the Great Scottish Run in honour of Mary Moffat who died at the Accord Hospice in June 2016. Mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend: taken too soon by cancer aged 63.
The Hospice delivers an invaluable service for terminally ill patients and their families. From community outreach to palliative in patient care and family support services, the Hospice provides a vital service with very little funding from central government.
It costs around £5000 per day to run these services. Can you help us fund a day?
