Team Lockey are back and are still going strong!

As Michael continues to recover following recent surgery and faces his own ongoing challenge we are enrolled in our own further challenge - this time walking 26 miles in a single day! 

Pauline, Matthew, Anna, Sarah and Dan will be taking on this challenge, sore legs await! 

We are forever grateful to Macmillan and have only become increasingly aware of the sterling work that they do each and every day over the last year.

And on this occasion we have joined another team, in memory of our friend Ian, and have joined the mission to #BeMoreIan...

Ian was diagnosed with an incurable sarcoma in July 2018. His Macmillan team provided a wide range of support from symptom relief, organising the equipment that would give him back his independence, legal and financial advice and helped us to talk about Ian's final wishes. Their input added some quality back into Ian's final months which meant he was able to continue to do the things he loved. Ian was a much loved husband, son, brother and uncle and is hugely missed by all his family and friends. We are taking part in this challenge to raise funds in his memory to help others who find themselves needing similar support.
