We fund research and accelerate awareness to support those affected by encephalitis.

Story

Henry was an energetic,  kind and imaginative son and brother. His laugh was infectious and he brought so much joy and love to our lives. Best buddies with his sister Giselle, our home was rarely quiet as they would create worlds of their own playing as well as hanging out watching movies.

In November 2019, our happy, healthy and fit Henry was up to normal things for an 8 nearly 9 year old. He became unwell very suddenly and medical staff were unable to work out what was causing his illness. He died in hospital on 22nd November and our lives have been devastated ever since, split in two,  before and after.

Months later we were told Henry had encephalitis so we are walking to raise awareness of this illness and to raise money to ensure other families don't have to go through what we have by supporting the Encephalitis Society.
