Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.

Story

We have entered this year’s 40th anniversary three peaks yacht race, www.threepeaksyachtrace.co.uk,which takes place over the week of 17th June. This world renowned race involves sailing up the west coast of the UK, making 3 stops where 2 runners from each boat run inland and scale the peaks of Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis. In total, the race involves approximately 390milesof sailing (and rowing!), 60miles of running, and 30miles of cycling, andtypically takes 4/6 days to complete, depending on weather conditions. We aim to raise money for two charities, Médecins Sans Frontières and the MS Society.

Medicines Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading emergency medical humanitarian aid organisation. We provide emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. We work in over 60 countries and go to the places where others cannot or choose not to go.
