UNISON members have been running the country throughout this crisis – now we’re running for them.
Step Up September is all in aid of our amazing welfare charity, There for You. UNISON staff across the South West will be walking, running and cycling as many miles as we can throughout September to raise money for our members who are facing financial difficulties.
In fact, our regional secretary, Joanne Kaye, has promised to run a mile for every thousand members we have in the South West - that's 92 miles!
There for You has paid out over £250,000 to members who have experienced financial difficulties due to COVID-19 and thousands in school unform grants for families needing a little extra support this September. By supporting our challenge, you can help top up that pot and help members who really need it.
