Story
Homeless World Cup is raising funds for Palestine to send a national football team to the 8th Rio 2010 Homeless World Cup for the first time. We'd love to see Palestine stand proud with 64 nations to be hosted by Brazil from 19 – 26 September 2010 at Copacabana Beach, Rio, Brazil.
Organised by the Palestinian Sport Office in Lebanon, The Palestine Homeless World Cup team will be selected on 25 August from homeless people living in the camps of Lebanon, due to conflict. Players will come from the refugee camps Rashdie, Albass, Al boorj el shamaly, Ain al hilwa, Borj al barajna, Sabra ana shatila, Al badawi and Balbak.
