Story

Nine utterly unprepared idiots, fourteen days, 4000km of unpredictable India and one wild and dangerous ride.

And it's all in the name of charity.

Join us in the wee hours of 2016 as nurse our hangovers, question our sanity and step up to the starting line of The Rickshaw Run - a crazy pan Indian adventure in a three-wheeled tin can.  A vehicle no more powerful than a fully laden tortoise.

There is no support, no set route, no accomodation booked and little chance of a fair weather crossing.

From Fort Kochi in the southern state of Kerala, we will terrifyingly meander our way to the northern city of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. On route we will dice with all that India's roads can throw at us. From trucks to cows and everything in between, the highway code will be thrown out and the horn will become king.

What we love most about this epic adventure however is that the inevitable #rickshawruns and potential loss of limbs won't be in vain as we ride to help the good people at Hospice Isle of Man.

Despite the inevitable setbacks we will face along the way, all of our moans and gripes really do pale into insignificance when compared to the challenges faced by those affected by a life limiting illness.  Help us to support the magnificent work undertaken by the hospice team as it provides palliative care and much need family support.

Rest assured that ALL funds raised will go directly to our nominated charity and are NOT to cover our travel expenses, medical bills etc.

But wait, there's more...We want YOU to feel like you are part of this ride too.  Play along at home with a sweet (for you) terrifying (for us) incentive that we like to call #donateanddare.

Support us with a $50 (25GBP) cash donation and you'll be granted one of your very own wishes; a dare to be performed during the event just for your sick pleasure.  Chuckle along as this dare is then broadcast across social media for all to see.

Other incentives we can offer for your kind contributions include postcards from deepest, darkest India for just $20(10GBP) and personalised artworks inspired by our adventure for $30 (15GBP).

Have no spare cash to to give? No problem, we'd love it if you still got involved by following the journey on our blog, Facebook & insta.   Share this with your friends and family to help us spread our message!
