Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you probably know my Cef, the love of my life. The kindest most gentle lovely man you could ever meet was diagnosed 6 years ago with Becker Muscular Dystrophy. For him this equates to a slow progressive deterioration of the muscles in his thighs and buttocks. Which is slowly robbing him of the ability to walk. This has meant adaptions to our life and lifestyle but we cope and will continue to do so.
I decided last autumn that I would do the Great North Run in aid of the work of The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign who are a small charity working to support the families of sufferers, fund research and advise both patients and proffesionals as they seek to raise awareness of this often overlooked illness.
The run is on 16th September and I need to raise £300 to justify my place on the MDC team. If you can support me no matter how small (or large) I would be ultimately grateful. If you are a tax payer then please tick the gift aid box so that more can be added to your donation.
